NEW BRIT ON ISIS DEATH ROW: yet again, he is not what he seems

cantroyalsJOHN CANTILE IS WELL-CONNECTED BY FAMILY, & USES SYNTAX CONSONANT WITH MILITARY INTELLIGENCE

The mainstream media keep on telling us new candidate for decapitation John Cantlie is nothing more than “a very talented gung-ho news photographer”.

But once again, it doesn’t entirely add up.

As you can see from the above, he is clearly rather well-connected. This is hardly surprising: his family forebears include Dr James Cantlie – instrumental in the protection of the famous Chinese revolutionary Sun Yat Sen from the Chinese authorities.

By describing him as “a photographer specialising in hotspots around the world”, the media are being disingenuous: he has spent more than a decade based entirely in the Middle East, and always in countries where geopolitics are of prime importance: Iraq, Libya, Egypt, and Syria.

This is a mirror-image of the career of James Foley. In fact, he and Foley were kidnapped together in November 2012…something of a coincidence For two competing snappers.

All of Cantlie’s written journalism has been avowedly anti-Assad: very much the US/UK/NATO line.

He was kidnapped before, but escaped. In an interview with The Sun newspaper on 26 August 2012, Cantlie said it was “every Englishman’s duty to try and escape if captured.” That is a classic military attitude; it is never expressed as such by genuinely unaligned snappers.

When last in England, John Cantlie was a key witness in the collapsed trial over jihadi-linked NHS doctor Shajul Islam. The nature of his testimony suggests “expert witness” rather than journalist.

The more one delves into it, the more there is a very clear pattern to these ISIS beheadings. This is either a smart terrorist organisation sending out a clear message to Western security agencies….or Western security agencies using various cover stories to protect their staff.
